We're looking for one or more talented Associates to join our team in various locations around the UK.
\nLocations: Birmingham / Cardiff / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Plymouth – agile working, with up to 1-2 days per week from home if desired
\nHours: 40 hours per week – flexibility on hours available if desired
\nSalary: Starting from £70k per annum
\nSector: Working across all sectors of the built environment

You'll play a key leadership role within our 100-strong team, delivering hundreds of projects across one of the most diverse and high-profile portfolios in the country, with access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline – supporting complex construction and major infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery.

\nWhat will you be responsible for?
\nOverseeing the day-to-day activity of a local team of 8-16 technical staff, supporting a Regional Engineering Manager to lead a wider regional team of 30+ and the Head of Construction Engineering to lead a nationwide team of 100+. Leading the delivery of our most complex and/or high-value projects, whilst supporting Principal and Senior Engineers to lead the delivery of a broad range of services including some or all of: temporary works design and checking, reviewing permanent designs for compliance and buildability, supporting tenders and preconstruction planning, and providing technical support to overcome construction-stage and post-construction issues and defects.
